Ah, yes, The craft Show---

As a money maker this one was a dismal failure.  I brought home $85 more than I took with me.  I was up at 7:15, hit Tim Horton's at Deacon's Corner for coffee and breakfast, and was into Lorette by 8:30, driving directly into the rising sun most of the way. Busy, busy setting up, and then had a very nice time socializing with each other.  Every once in awhile a customer would come through, but those times were rare.

How does one evaluate such a sale?  The socialization was wonderful.  I got rid of a lot of small items that have been hanging around forever.  I put them all in a large basket and offered one item free with any purchase.  I offered each of the members of the Wednesday group one as a gift, as well.  My stuff was priced very low.  At the end of the sale  I donated my large Angel figurine to the seniors' centre.  One of the ladies in the group approached me while we were breaking down to talk about the large Santa figurine, and I gave it to her as a gift, knowing that she doesn't have a lot of $$.

So based in considerations other than sales I did very well.  The small treasures that have been too good to go to the thrift store are pretty well gone.  The three large figurines all went to good homes.  I even sold one of my Christmas stockings.  And now have several shelves empty in my store room.

Then there was an evening out.  I think I've been sleeping ever since.  All's good.
