Quiet around here

This week we've been using the phone to communicate rather that the blog, and that was maybe a good idea.

I have visited a physio who has promised a program for me, although he feels it might be much less expensive if I were to join one of the rehab groups such as The Refit Centre or the 7 oaks Wellness Centre for accountability and follow up.  Probably a good point.  When I saw my doctor yesterday he thought the whole thing was a good idea.  The Physio and I also had a short chat about the Arousal Theory (one of my favorites)or the old saying about a body at rest staying at rest while a body in motion tending to stay in motion.  So he set a task for this week, asking me to walk 5-7 houses up the street and back, daily, which I did yesterday.

I also spent quite awhile in the basement yesterday, foregoing my trip to Lorette.  I'm not quite ready for a drive that long, since my last tumble.  My hand sewing is quite large now, and I found it much easier to do with the help of the large table down there.  This isn't really a hardship with the help of my little tv and table Ott light helping out as well.

Today I'll see some time catching up with housework.  That never goes away, and I always have the list in my BuJo.  There are always menus to be planned, which leads to grocery lists and shopping trips. Today breakfast was frozen Sweet Red Cherries (thawed) with yogurt and chopped pistachios.  A special treat, but part of the diet.  No hardship there.

So--time to get dressed, and clean the bathroom, followed by cleaning the kitchen.  Then off for a walk down the street.  Stay safe ladies and follow doctor's orders.
