Is Fall in the air?
The thought of Fall coming to us right now hit me yesterday when we were walking the dogs at the South River Park where we take them every ( most every) day for their walk. The breeze was brisk and cool and the water pounded into the shore line. And the leaves floated down from the trees as if there were some urgency to cover the ground with a nice blanket for Winter. And my jacket was zipped up to the top to keep the cold from slipping in and further disturbing my usual great happy walk. And finally, back home and inside, i could feel the breeze coming in through the open windows and gently cooling the inside that for days/weeks had been stuffy and hot. That felt wonderful but not the thought of Fall also coming in through the windows at all. The garden and its produce is showing its age as well and seems to be beckoning me to dig me up, take my fruits and pack me away for the Winter. Gosh, I am not ready for it...please give me some time...I plead.
Today we plan to go to Huntsville to grocery shop. Not much on the list but you both know that will quickly change once we start to graze the aisles. Always does. I have found myself short of paper towels for some reason as i always keep a goodly supply on hand. I try to capture the infrequent sales of same , but may have to pay the full price today.
On Wednesday I go for a Doctors appointment - been a while since I've been and although not what i want to do, i have to discuss my decision to discontinue the Alendronate i have been taking for ages as a prescription for osteoarthritis. I discovered that there are side effects with long use, and it seems I have some of those symptoms. best to be careful.
So greetings to you both. My time at the computer has apparently ended as the household is getting up now, and so I must get on with my day.
Take care and be good to yourselves. Both of you take it easy. Thinking of you always ...😉
I meant osteoporosis and not, osteoarthritis. Sorry for mistake.
