What glorious weather...

....and I know it is a tease as i look at the forecast and see some not so nice weather in the near future. So many plants have already been taken outside the greenhouses and sitting around the yard. But these will all have to be protected when the weather turns to mixed or snow and the night temps dip to below zero. Harry has already put out a message for people who would like some kale plants.. so far only one taker but I am sure that will change. The ground is still too cold and still frozen is some places so another month or two before anything could could be planted. But the little rhubarb plants are popping their heads up already - i cleared all the leaves off and put up some little fences to protect them. I so love to have the rhubarb come and look forward to some baking when it is big enough to pick. Monday i go back to the Physio for an assessment and treatment and hope he sees some good improvements with my strength. I would like to set up a maintenance plan and maybe not have to see him again but that all depends. i am not back to perfect and my weight bearing in left leg is not where I would like it but considering what i was like last November when I first started, I see a great change for the better.

On Wednesday i am meeting friend Sue for Luncheon in Huntsville and so looking forward to this event as we have not been able to meet as regularly as we did before Covid. Yesterday my old friend Monik Evans called and we had a good old chat as usual. They still live in Alberta and we always call on our birthdays and it is a friendship that seems to have stood the test of time...and as if we are just having a regular talk like folks who see each other all the time.  Lots of laughs and that makes your day, doesn't it?

Hope all is well with you and that you are looking forward to Summer as much as i am ..to sit out in the sun or putter around the yard.  Take care...here's some sun to sit under... 😅
