Too much going on!!

We seem so busy this week that we have to write a list for every day, just so we don't forget something we have to do.

Yesterday, we went to Starbucks for breakfast, and both ate oatmeal.  Ah, well, to each his own.  Since it was more of a brunch, we then went shopping, and ended up in Walmart, where we bought a new vacuum cleaner--for David.  He tried it out before supper, and really likes the way it works, so plans to send the old one out to the garage for use there.   Then we went to a small restaurant in a little mall on Munroe, called the Ramallah Cafe.  The specialty there is Middle Eastern food.  I had a Falafel platter, and David had a 1/2 chicken platter, both served with rice and hummus, but I also had Greek Salad and pickled turnip on my platter. We both ate our fill and left a lot of food on the plate.  Then back home, where we called a cab and headed for the casino for the evening.

Needless to say we slept in this morning.  So it was up, a quick breakfast and on the road to the group in Loretta for the afternoon.

Tomorrow we are having brunch with David's sister. Then 3-4 errands to run, finishing with the library, where there are 4+ books waiting for me, on top of the ones waiting here at home.  Friday, laundry day, will almost feel like a relaxing day.   But then, Saturday, Loren and amber are going with us to tour the assistive living place on Panet Road, just North of Concordia.  This is run by the same group that operates the Personal Care Home that David's Father spent time in. It's also the place my friend, Shirley, lived in for awhile, so I'm somewhat familiar with it.

But, I have to wonder if it's better to be busy seniors, or to be stuck at home, as we were during the Covid shutdown.  I do have to say that the housework was better done while we were under shutdown, but then I never was a fan of housework.

With all that's going on, I haven't had a chance to take any studio pictures.  Probably not going to happen today either, nor perhaps tomorrow.  All I do know is that this evening I expect to be vegging out in front of the tv.  Wish me well, and stay safe.
