Jokes on me...
It seems that since I have started this cleaning up process ( that Pati has gone through for more than a year now) my messages have had a focus on same. Hope you will not be too bored but it seems to be my life these days. I was bragging about having found a "new" home for 2 rubber made containers and another box full of fabric, and bags of wool and bags of batting. Yesterday i ventured into another area of the basement and found two more rubber made containers of fabric and another bag of scraps. Oh boy! And I have found more boxes and bags full of the little packages of cut wool meant to be used for making hooked rugs. Even though I am keeping the rug supplies for now with the idea that I might do some more rugs when the dust settles,.. it is taking over the basement. Don't be shocked but your sister may have to become a full time Hooker! 😚
On another note, I mentioned that my hairdresser retired and closed her shop in December leaving me without. I knew of two other shops in the village but did not know them or anything about them. Yesterday i had to go to Foodland and this store is attached to a little strip mall along it's side which contains a Natural Food/clothing/gift store, a Spa and a Hair Salon. So I walked into the Hair salon and was greeted by a very nice lady when I asked for a card because I was looking for a new hairdresser. She also will do hair permanents ( which my other one could not do because of her allergies) I was impressed and think that this will be my approach. I'll get a haircut first to check it out, and then when my hair grows a bit more will get a permanent done for the summer. I was quite happy with how things turned out.
Well, low nights temps this week to come and snow so I guess I will be busy with keeping the greenhouses functioning. Take care folks and think Spring. Actually do a dance along with me and maybe we will make a difference together. 👪
