Weekly retrospective

This week I feel as though I'm running from mini-crisis to mini-crisis. No matter how I think my day is planned things move and change faster than I can react. More dental appointments.  Tuesday we were to the dentist for 8:45 am. Then home for an hour's sleep and off for an optometrist appointment at 12:10, for both of us, only to realize that there had been some confusion and we were almost an hour early. Dilation and scans and we were away just after 3:00.  We had planned to eat at the casino before the show we were to see.  Because of dilation we were travelling by cab, and had planned to take a cab to the casino so we could each have a drink during the show. So home we went from the clinic, had the cab wait while I went into the house to grab a different purse, and then off again to the casino.  Oh my, it felt so privileged to have a cab wait for me. While we enjoyed the show, "The Music of Neil Diamond" after awhile the noise got to us and we decided to leave, getting just to the door when the show actually did end.

Wednesday was my Divas meeting.  I went and enjoyed it, and will try to go again.  There was a bit of a kerfuffle at my Lorette group a couple of weeks ago.   Several members communicated with the lady from the municipality, lots of Private Messaging (PM) back and forth.  She was to go to the Lorette meeting this week to sort out what she could.  I was sort of glad to have an excuse not to go (the Divas) but also very curious about what might have happened. Regardless, Gail, another lady that we know and like, Doreen, and I are now considering attending one week in Lorette and the next week to a similar group in Landmark. They are trying to get this group started and Gail, who lives in Landmark has been attending for awhile.  I have no idea how this might work out, but I've lost my respect for three ladies in Lorette and this is affecting the pleasure I find in the Lorette meeting. But, if you've ever studied group dynamics you could predict something like this happening.  Finally, yesterday I forgot that Vivian was driving in from Pinawa to pick up my kitchen dishes. The last straw. I even wrote a lengthy blog bemoaning my feelings and fate.  Posted it.  Then remembered that we like to keep this blog fairy light hearted. So went back in and erased it.

You notice no mention of studio time in the above.  Nope.  None.  I've declared that we are not leaving the house until, at least, Monday We have food, and enough tv sets for both of us.  There should be no need to leave the house, and maybe I can visit the studio.  I hope so because I put my studio shirt on today.  😄

And that's my week.  Love to read about what you're both doing, and enjoy our phone calls.  I love you both so stay safe.  We need each other.
