Snow is on the ground......!

It's heavy in the trees and white everywhere but on the road and driveway.  Any that arrives before Oct31st usually melts away in my experience.  I sure hope that's true this time as our snow clearing contract doesn't come into effect until Nov 1st.

My doctor has put me on a diet of absolutely no dairy products.  I'm confused and dismayed.  I've relied on dairy products for about 75% of my protein intake ever since I discovered Dr Phil's diet.  The danger is relying too much on starches to replace the dairy protein, as David and I did many, many years ago when we experimented with Vegan-ism, and tried to delete meat from our diet.  So breakfast today was two small slices of pumpernickel with peanut butter and an handful of grapes.

Today, David and I have decided to go nowhere.  To just stay at a home and relax, or maybe do a little house work?  I have a list in my BuJo that could keep us busy for a week.  I would prefer to spend the day in the Studio, but that's not likely.  I did finish the EPP that I've been working on for the last 18 months or so.  It now needs to be finished as either a bed quilt or a wall hanging of some sort.  Truthfully, it will probably slowly waste away in the bottom of a cupboard somewhere, unless I find the ambition to do something else with it.  But I do need some other way to keep my hands busy while listening to the tv, (can't watch both) and have started looking at my drawer of other EPP projects that I've accumulated.  No! No!  Begone temptation!

Instead I should be working on finalizing the items I want to take to the craft show Nov. 25th.  There are no plans to make anything more, but there are a lot of items gathering dust that would be appropriate to take.

For the moment it would be best if I gave that housework priority.  Darn it.  Not really where I want to go but, at least, I could wash the dishes.

Worrisome that masks are now required for hospital personnel again.  Stay safe, ladies, even if we have to go back to wearing those darn masks.
