Making plans--don't bother!
My lazy do whatever you want day on Thursday turned out to be a last minute hit to every store in town grocery shopping trip. We visited 4 different grocery stores Thursday afternoon looking for small tinfoil potpie tins as David had decided he would prefer apple pies to apple crisp. No such luck but we found miniature loaf pans that were just about the right size, for the crisp.
Friday was laundry day and my hour long massage. There were a few minutes left at the end of the hour, and she gave me a foot massage. Oh! Heaven!
Saturday we did make Apple Crisp, but only one batch. David decided that there would be no sense in making 15 small desserts for the freezer, as he probably would never eat all of them. Then we went for our weekly shopping trip. A bit of an anti-climax as there were only a few things on the list. Unfortunately, apples weren't one of them. The apples I was given are not in very good shape. The rest of them will be thrown out today. But--today I'm supposed to go back to phase one of my diet, and I need apples. So, probably another shopping trip. But, I decided that we could probably hit the grocery store early tomorrow morning after our doctor's appointment. So I've given myself one day reprieve. Not that I plan to go crazy.
Beyond the appt. at 6:30 tomorrow morning, I have no idea what the next week holds. I haven't checked the calendar, although I guess I have to if I'm going to make up next week's pages in my BuJo.
In the mean time, I urge you both to stay safe. No hot air balloon rides for the next while.
