Too tired to think

Been amongst the missing lately, and I apologize.  These days I've either been very, very busy, or too tired to think.  We've had a lot of appointments this week.  David has been back to the dentist ( while I waited in Starbucks).  This morning I got a call from the dentist wanting to verify our phone number on the referral to the Denturist.  I hope we aren't looking at a "money pit", but fair's fair, --there's a small fortune in my mouth.  Prior to the dentist visit yesterday, we had a 6:15 appointment with the doctor.  However, it turns out our appointment was actually the day before.  He took us, anyway, and things appear fine.  Since Tuesday, between appointments, I've been freezing Blueberries.  I wash them, lay them out on a tinfoil tray, and freeze them.  As soon as they're frozen I measure them into servings and bag them. I bought 16 lb of them, but only have three trays, one about 1/2 size, so it is a somewhat lengthy process.  Since Blueberries are in my breakfast almost every day, I need quite a few over time.  I would have preferred to use parchment paper, but it seem we sold ours at the garage sale.  Whoops!

Purchased our snow removal contract this week.  More expensive than last year.   A bit of sticker shock there.  I also talked to them to clarify exactly what services we can expect to receive.  They do not provide clearance of windrows across the driveway, either on the sidewalk or the street.  They say that those are the responsibility of the city.  The city says those are the responsibility of the owner of the house.  Finally I called the 211 line for info on city social services.  There I got information on The Snow Angels,  a volunteer group that helps older people deal with their snow.  I'm to call back in the fall and I will be able to register for the service.

Haven't really been able to spend any time in the studio, but I'm planning to post on that blog, as well, sometime today.

Stay safe and don't do anything stupid.  Does that more reflect our stage in life? Works in this house.
