Spring?

I can only hope that this current snow storm is that nasty one that shows up every year just when everyone thinks Spring has arrived.  Probably not, but I can wish and hope.

My memory of last week was being frantically busy everyday and exhausted every evening.  Friday, with the laundry, was absolutely the worst day of the week. But yesterday, was sort of a lazy day.  I wandered through it in a bit of fog, got to bed (fairly) early, and slept well.  We have nothing planned for today, as the storm was predicted to last all weekend, in one form or another.  But it's a bright sunny day and we are already shoveled out.  Fearing being snowed in, we had made a late grocery run on Friday evening.  Sort of the "last straw" for me, at the time.  But I have today ahead of me and the only chore in the book is to clean the bathroom. Yuck!

We have another "coffee" date ahead of us with the kids tomorrow evening.  I know we'll be discussing looking at assistive living facilities, so will have to be on the phone early in the morning to make initial contact. From what I've seen and know, so far, I favour one facility over the others.  It's a little more expensive, but I've done the math, both for a couple and for a single( with reduced pensions) and think we could manage it. We'll see what happens, and I'll keep you informed.

And that's the run down from this house.  Nothing special ( other than seeing the kids) going on, but lots to look forward to.  And now for another relaxing day--or--at least the rest of another relaxing day.

Stay safe, ladies.
